Words I Realized: Sublish

Sublish [suhb-lish], n – the liquid that is exuded by a food product after an extended period of dormancy

Few things in life are as disheartening as dribbling sublish all over your fries, so you best be shaking your ketchup prior to deployment.  Trust me on this one.  Imagine covering a hot dog in mustard.  Amazing.  Now imagine, in one squeeze of a bottle, you dish out a sublish/ciggitch combo platter.  Awful, okay?  And on an unrelated note, I just realized that in photographs, ketchup on a plate can easily be misconstrued for sriracha.

A rare breed, Gomez enjoyed straight sublish; it would not be out of character for him to start his mornings with yogurt, immediately preceded by a mouthful of its viscous sublish
